Das Alte Bürgermeisteramt - Begegnungszentrum der Schlebuscher Bürgerinnen und Bürger - steht für Kommunikation - Geselligkeit - Information. Das Programm vor Ort bietet Möglichkeiten des Gedankenaustauschs z.B. des Sozialen, der Kunst, Literatur über Religion, Politik, Heimatgeschichte. Es gibt Angebote, die dem Geselligen, der Unterhaltung dienen - wie Singnachmittage, Spielecafés, aktuelle Filme.
Ein Team ehrenamtlicher Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter bemüht sich um eine gastliche Atmosphäre für alle Besuchenden. Das Team sieht seine besondere Aufgabe darin - mit Hilfe von aktuellem Informationsmaterial - Antworten und Auskünfte auf Fragen zu geben, die sich auf den Alltag, auf evtl. Probleme im Stadtteil, in Leverkusen beziehen.
