BEERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD
From 10 to 13 July 2026, visitors will once again be able to spend four days tasting, enjoying and raising a glass together – because that’s when the 38th Leverkusen Beer Festival (Bierbörse) takes place! A colourful array of over a hundred different beer specialities awaits all beer lovers to sample.
This event, popular far beyond the region, has achieved cult status over the past 36 years. Every year, countless guests flock to the meadow along the River Wupper, which lends the oldest and largest beer fair its unique atmosphere and offers space for around 70 beer and food stalls. The mix of large beer gardens, a wide variety of beers and an atmospheric stage programme attracts young and old, regulars and new visitors alike to the beautiful grounds in Leverkusen-Opladen.
The U16 initiative in Leverkusen-Opladen is unique. Young people under the age of 16 are only permitted to enter the beer fair if accompanied by their parents. For animal welfare reasons, dogs are not permitted on the beer fair grounds for the duration of the Leverkusen Beer Festival.
For safety reasons, rucksacks, large bags and handcarts are not permitted on the event site. Furthermore, bringing your own food and drink is prohibited (with the exception of baby food). Bumbags, very small bags and nappy bags are still permitted. Security staff will carry out checks at all entrances to the Bierbörse.
Entry to the entire site is free of charge! Opening times and the programme for 2026 are yet to be announced. But one thing is already certain: Guildo Horn will be on stage again on Monday in 2026!
