When night falls, you’ll find a colourful and lively pub scene in Leverkusen. Opladen and its Neustadt in particular have always been a very special nightlife district anyway and have at times boasted the highest “pub density” in the whole of NRW. The Scala Club’s concerts and the events at the Topos attract audiences from far and wide. Rheindorf’s Saal Norhausen and Schlebusch’s Herkenrather Hof with its Schalander Bar are also iconic. But live music is also a big deal in the other venues. So let’s explore the nightlife! Why not start in the beer gardens, of which there are several in the city?
